Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Hey, I’m Ryan. Exercise has had a profound impact on my life and I’ve made it my life’s mission to transform others into the best versions of themselves through exercise. I’ve trained all types of clientele from a 7-year-old working on coordination to an 80-year-old wanting to get stronger so they can get in and out of their bathtub. I spent 9 years training Division 1 athletes at six different universities and I believe there is an athlete inside all of us. As someone who was once diagnosed with high blood pressure and pre-diabetes, adopting exercise as a habit was the best thing that ever happened to me. I foster a community of health and wellness built around helping people live their lives to the fullest.

Run & Aquatic Specialist
I'm Patrick Murray, a seasoned coach with extensive experience in running and swimming. I've coached at all levels, from NCAA Division I athletics to high school, elementary school, and individualized coaching. I hold a B.A. in Physical Education from Syracuse University and an M.A. in Sports Management from Florida State University. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of coaching multiple NCAA All-Americans and champions and individuals achieving performance, health, or lifestyle goals. I've been in Chicago for the last three years and believe the city offers many training locations, from city trails and swimming areas to parks. My goal for anyone I work with is to develop an individualized training plan that leads to a lifelong enjoyment of fitness and well-being. The Lab is one of the few places that not only shares this vision but also has professionals who believe in it!
